Chapter 1: Welcome to New Writers!
Since our last update on March 11, we have welcomed 20 outstanding stories to the boosted collection. Below, you will find a list of these captivating narratives.
Additionally, I want to take a moment to extend a warm welcome to the new writers who have joined our community since my last post. Their names are listed at the end of this article, and they truly deserve the spotlight on this platform. As Dr. Yildiz wisely stated, seasoned writers should mentor newcomers, helping them navigate their journey with confidence. Reflecting on my own experience two years ago, I recall the anxiety I felt as a new writer. Thanks to the unwavering support from the ILLUMINATION community, I have grown into a more assured writer, editor, and curator.
Section 1.1: Celebrating ILLUMINATION's 4th Anniversary
This month marks the fourth anniversary of ILLUMINATION! My dear friend, Mike Broadly, DHSc, has penned a delightful story celebrating this milestone, infused with our unique Aussie humor. I believe you’ll enjoy this charming piece. Mike, who also curates stories, has shared his latest collection.
Section 1.2: New Monthly Newsletter
We have launched a new newsletter via our secondary account, Dr. Yildiz, which includes essential updates tailored for new writers.
Chapter 2: Enhancing Visibility for Non-Boosted Stories
While I frequently curate non-boosted narratives, 99% of remarkable stories often go unnoticed. Regrettably, I was unable to create a new collection today due to time constraints. However, I have included my latest curated collection of non-boosted stories to increase their visibility. I encourage everyone to share these on social media.
To streamline this process, I have created lists for each collection to enhance exposure. Although it requires considerable effort, assisting our readers and writers brings me immense joy.
Section 2.1: New Guidelines for Medium Partnership
We recently interviewed Dr. Mehmet Yildiz regarding the new Medium rules designed to combat spam and fraudulent accounts. Dr. Yildiz shared invaluable advice for our writers. It’s crucial to disseminate this information among all writers to mitigate the risk of unintended account suspensions.
In related news, I’m pleased to announce that our beloved editor, Lanu Pitan, has returned following the acceptance of her appeal. Let's celebrate her return and enjoy her insightful contributions.
