It may sound odd, but taking cold showers every morning has significantly helped calm my mind. When exposed to cold, our brains can momentarily shut down anxious thoughts and enter a survival mode, focusing on immediate needs rather than dwelling on sadness. Step Two: Plan "Dates" with Yourself
I’ve made it a point to take myself on weekly outings—an opportunity to explore new places without any expectations. These solo adventures, inspired by Julia Cameron’s concept of Artist Dates, allow me to escape the noise of daily life and reconnect with my creativity. As Cameron emphasizes, these excursions are meant solely for nurturing your inner artist, free from distractions.
