The Lawyer from Tarsus: Insights into Paul’s Profound Knowledge

Chapter 1: The Authority of Saul
A historical figure known as Saul of Tarsus spoke with impressive authority. Trained by some of the most distinguished lawyers and theologians of his era, he articulated his arguments with the precision of a seasoned trial attorney. His unwavering commitment led him down a transformative path, where his mission was abruptly altered; he experienced blindness, a change in direction, and ultimately, a new identity.
Despite these challenges, this noble-minded lawyer continued to engage in logical reasoning, even in the face of death.
As he addressed his followers in the ancient city of Colossae, located in Phrygia in Asia Minor, the transformed Paul made a striking assertion about his mentor: “for in him all things were created…and in him all things hold together.” In hindsight, it seems unlikely that Paul fully grasped the depth of this statement or its implications.
Section 1.1: Understanding “All Things”
What did Paul mean by “all things”? If his message to the Colossians was intended to address societal issues, it would resonate with the errors and challenges faced by that community at the time.
To whom did the term “him” refer? It clearly indicated his Lord, the very presence that interrupted his former life, caused his temporary blindness, and redirected his intellectual prowess.
Subsection 1.1.1: The Concept of “Holding Together”
What did Paul intend by “hold together”? It seems he was referencing physical entities or perhaps the human body. The impact of his words on the Colossians is difficult to imagine, but in contemporary times, it appears evident that Paul was suggesting that all physical phenomena, including the human body, are held together by a remarkable force.
How could he have possessed such insight?
The Human Body and the Mystery of Laminin
To comprehend how the body functions, one must understand how its components are interconnected. Cells within the human body are bound together by specific molecules, particularly one known as Laminin.
It may seem ludicrous to suggest that Paul had foreknowledge of such scientific principles. After all, he lacked access to advanced tools like electron microscopes, and he did not have the scientific understanding of how all things indeed hold together due to the unique design of Laminin.
Or perhaps it's not absurd to consider that Paul might have had some intuitive grasp of this truth. Meet Laminin, starting with a schematic representation.
Next, here is an actual image of a Laminin molecule in action.
Chapter 2: The Cross-like Shape of Laminin
This first video titled "A Life Turned Upside Down: Paul of Tarsus - November 2022 - YouTube" delves into the transformative journey of Paul and his profound insights.
The second video, "Was Paul Really a Student of Rabbi Gamaliel, Doctor of Jewish Law? Rabbi Singer Responds - YouTube," examines the educational background of Paul and its influence on his teachings.
Is the cross-shaped structure of Laminin merely a coincidence? This 34 x 78 nm micrograph resembles a symbol of sacrifice. Could this lasting imprint on our very existence serve as a reminder of something greater?
